Darkness
by The Dragoon

(Same Battle as Light but different perspective)

This is a horrible day for the Darkness. Over 1000 mighty wolfbane warriors stand in the open field of battle ready to sacrifice their lives in an attempt to destroy one of Alergoths mighty Citadels. Between them and their goal is an army of darkness. Undead, Razades, Stalkers, and even a Behemoth are the defenders in this mighty game of chess. Even the sight of the Behemoth does not scare the mighty wolf banes with there savage traditions and weapons. They stand there, somehow knowing that victory is inevitable. Not even the wolf bairns run at the sight of the darkness. Suddenly a roar comes from the Leader which spreads to all 1000 warriors.

Then they all charge. It is an awesome sight to see defiant warriors charging across the battle field. Even as the bullets from Alerogth's might army rips into the massive ranks of the wolf banes they do not yield from there charge. Never in my long life have I seen such brave human soldiers. I can hear the sound of the unholy carronade as they charge their dark cannons. A loud BANG, a streak of light, a great explosion as one of the carrondes fires its deadly ammo. But they still come unwavering in their assault against the darkness. Light and dark meet on the battle field. wolf banes slicing everything in their path, clearing the path for the War Hounds to come in and shred the mighty army of Alergoth with there bullets. Head Hunters make a rush for the Behemoth swinging their heavy axes uselessly into it mighty armored legs.

Stalkers walk though the mass of warriors firing their black bullets and ripping apart warriors with their mighty bayonets. Even a squad of War Hounds is no match for a Stalker.

Alergoths dark warriors fall limp all around the citadel as the mighty wolf banes gain the upper hand. Slaughtered Stalkers, Razades, Centurions, and even the Behemoth lay there slain in battle with the light. Red blood from the dead and dying fill the mote around the citadel.

I can see with my own eyes that the Darkness will not triumph to day. "This Citadel has no more uses for Alergoth" I say as I step into the portal where no human would dare tread.
