The elite Deathbringers of the Mishiman Shadow Walkers cult are not born.. they are made. To control their powers, potential Deathbringers must test them in actual combat, growing in experience and confidence.. and live to contemplate the lessons learned.

This is that test.

Mishima Forces: 1 Shadow Walker Deathbringer Aspirant.
Special Rules:

• Character Profile and Equipment is as Shadow Walker
• Aspirant may attempt to use Deathbringer Powers.
• There are no "Perfect Success" power rolls. 1's are treated as a plain success.
• Aspirant fumble on a roll of 19 or 20
• Aspirant cost for VP's is considered as 50.

Dark Legion: any forces up to a maximum value of 300 points, with a minimum of 100 points, which must include at least 1 squad of Legionairres of any type (i.e. Blessed, Sreaming, etc.)

Setup:

• Dark Legion sets up first, anywhere on the board.
• Aspirant sets up last, anywhere on board not in LOS of, nor in base contact with a figure.
• Aspirant moves first.

Aspirant Objective: the Aspirant is attempting to gain enough experience and confidence to overcome the inner turmoil, so that the powers can be used with the steadiness required of a Deathbringer. To do this, after the aspirant has exited the board from any side and returned to base, the aspirant will make a die-100 roll. A successful roll under the number of points value of Dark Forces killed will grant this steadiness, and result in a full-fledged Deathbringer. Only kills made using Powers are counted.. i.e. kills made in a Shadow Charge, or with Focused damage.

Players who enjoy this challenge may try the following: the Aspirant must climb from Shadowwalker to full Deathbringer in a series of steps, requiring three tests.
