Capitol The Wild Dreamers
by Brian J. Bair

Freedoms Fury

The Bauhaus commanders observed the advancing line of Capitol soldiers. Hundreds of soldiers walked juxtaposed to one another making the line look like it continued across for miles. The Martian dust storm had just settled. There was absolutely no cover for the Capitol troops. What the hell were those fools up too, the Kommandant thought. They even appeared to be unarmed except for the Punisher blades, which dangled from their belts. He also noticed the soldiers wore rags and dirty old armor and didnt march in unison. The Kommandant signaled his Kapitans to hold fire as they neared. The Capitol troops stopped their slow march about ten feet from the Bauhaus 8th Division. This division was comprised of mostly veteran soldiers of Hussars, Dragoons, and a couple of platoons of members from the Order of the Ice Bear. There record was exemplary and very few things could catch these soldiers totally off guard.

What happened next was described as the "unthinkable" in the Kommandants report. Silence befell the battleground as troops from both sides waited for the other to make the first move. The Capitol soldiers took upon their enemys faces with their blood red eyes. Then they slowly unsheathed their rusted Punisher blades with eerie movements. The Hussars and Dragoons raised their Panzerknaker Assault Rifles in response. Then one of the Capitol troops took a step forward and shouted, "Freedoms FURY!!!!!" And with that, all the Capitolian troops sliced their throats.

Everybody in the Bauhaus 8th Division was shocked, stunned, even petrified. One by one the bodies of the Capitol soldiers fell to the ground. Hussars vomited at the gruesome display while others became hysterical. The Kommandant was overwhelmed with grief the thunderous noise on the horizon faded into the back of his thoughts. One Kapitan saw the inevitable approaching and tried to rally his troops but to no avail.

The Capitol 5th and 14th Divisions along with the 23rd Armored Division were upon the Bauhaus troopers before they even realized what had transpired. Not a shot was fired. The Bauhaus Division returned safely home to Mundberg minus their equipment and weapons. Thus, the presence of Bauhaus in the Southern Lands of Mars was reduced to a minimal. This became known as the Battle of Freedoms Fury.

These are soldiers taken from various Capitol forces who have been tainted by the Lord of Insanity, Muawijhe. They are unpredictable and almost uncontrollable. They usually spearhead many battles, especially attacks on Citadels. Therefore, they have the highest casualty rate among all of Capitols armed forces. Their unpredictable nature makes them feared by many outside the corporation. They only way to calm their insane tendencies is to put them out onto the battlefield so they may achieve peace in a blaze of glory.
