Capitol Pincers

The Pincers are an elite fighting force found in the arid plains on Mars. Like the Raiders, they specialize in flanking tactics. However, because on the open land, they are trained in more of long range type of attack. Relying on numbers, as well as their marksmanship, the Pincers pour down heavy lead, making the enemy take a defensive role. Pincers are helicopter deployed out of range of enemy fire, and charge into battle.

Special Rules: Because the Pincers are deployed out of enemy fire by helicopters, they may enter the battle anytime during the first TWO rounds. They must be deployed no more then three inches from the edge of the board. They cannot come onto the same side of the board in which the enemy has been deployed. (If there are more then two players, then the Pincers can deploy between two opposing forces, as long as the closest figure from each opposing force is equaled distant away from the squad leader.) Pincers deploy with all their actions.

Equipment: Both Troopers and Sergeants are armed with M50 Assault Rifles with Mk II Grenade Launchers. Every member in a squad may be given Laser Sights. Up to two Troopers may substitute their assault rifles for M606 Light Machine Guns. Heroes can be armed with any weapon from the Capitol or General Armory lists.

Structure: Pincers are organized into squads of 6-8 Troopers and a Sergeant. Heroes are purchased as individual models.
